Hey everyone. Can anyone tell me the color of the interior of the M1010. I want to order a new dash for it and so far I've found Burgundy and Carmine Red. I know the door panels and seat covers are faded but it's a start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The color option number was 776i - BRON is what it says on the options for my M1009 and I believe the colors were all the same. I am assuming BRON is brown not really sure.

SEM Color Coat burgundy vinyl 15063 is what I used when I replaced my rotted dash. im also using it to redo my faded and worn door panels. It appears to be an exact match

How is it holding up on your dash
So far so good. I cleaned and scrubbed the dash real good with some 91% isopropyl alcohol as it had some spots on it and applied 3 good coats of SEM. I have to admit though my truck is garage kept so it doesn't get the harsh sun daily we have here.

I may try it out currently my dash is blue and my drivers seat is ripped. I am slowly going through the working mans restoration process

The official color is Bronze Metalic.

You our will not find a new one in that color. You will have to paint it.

The paint codes are listed in the FAQ thread in the CUCV Helpful threads sticky. It has also been discussed many time over the years.

Same here. I have been getting it from O'reily for about $13 a can but the others may have it or can get it also to save from ordering it online and paying the hazmat shipping. It took a whole can for the 3 coats I did on the dash.

Looking on there website its supposed to be able to be used on seats as well and be pretty tough. I hope this is the case i would like to spray the whole interior to match

It does seem more like a coating than a thin paint in that it has some give and flex to it which should allow it to hold up on seats. I would think proper prep would be key for it to work well on a high wear area such as a seat

Proper prep is where most people fall short which shows in quality and longevity. If I find another seat I may experiment on my current one first.

Here is the SEM color code sheet and Dk Carmine seats, vs Dk Bronze everything else. Dk Carmine was the best match I could find in an upholster kit and I haven't made up my mind yet if I can live with the two tone or want to dye them with the SEM like I did everything else.

It isn't so bad with the bench as well. I am not sure yet, the SEM is expensive, getting it custom mixed in aeresol cans has set me back a couple hundred + for 6 cans and the prep and adhesion promoter. Not that any other part of this has been cheap, but seats can just be a pain to get clean and perfectly dyed, not as forgiving as a more flat, firm surface. I tried everything to get dk bronze vinyl but no one had surplus and you can only get the M1008 bottom and the m1009 bench back still as surplus and my front seats looked like the guys who sat in them farted plutonium.

Here's a few pics. The color seems lighter in the pics due to my camera flash than what it appears to the naked eye. The last pic is a better representation of it

As mentioned many times Burgundy is not the correct color.
It is too bright or to red. Same as maroon.

The original color is
OEM Code 76WA5EN7465,W5A7465
GM DK Bronze(LG)

What I used was Deltron 2000 mixed by my local parts store.

I appreciate that. I am not necessarily worried about absolute factory original color. I look more at price point and how close is close enough for me. I want something thats close enough that will last and doesn't break the bank. Rvitko's interior looks great as does yous but as he said he spent over $200 to do that. That just isnt budget friendly for me.

I was hoping it would be a little darker. Looking at the comparison between your dash and kick panel. If I cant find anything closer around the same price point that may be the way I go though. Thanks for the pics.
