No original CUCV Suburbans. There are CUCV-II and LSSV Suburbans. The military has used regular Suburbans over the years.
There have been various members build their own "M1007" clones. I did one and started a second along with K9VIC who built two. RICKYODAY was one of the first.
This is probably the closest thing they made. This was originally used by the Marines, and then was sold to a local fire department only thing special on. It is the push bumper and I have no idea when that was actually added. you can see the stenciling for the fire department and the marine unit still in the paint and I did a Carfax on it that said it was originally government.
I have a 'civilian' Blazer that is red with red interior, 4x4 with a 350 , AC, PL, PW that had DOD stickers on the rad support (smashed in accident) and another in the door jamb. I knew the guy that bought it many years ago at a gov auction (pre internet). I was very upset with my son when he removed the sticker while helping getting it ready to paint. Weird things out there!
