Any tricks to get the 6.2 diesel out when it is locked up tight? I have the heads and pan off 5 connecting rod caps disconnected, all the main bearings and caps removed, the timing chain and gear. It is basically a block. I would not fuss so much but I could get 5 of the 6 torque converter bolts. But as fate has it the one with/in the weight on the flex plate is at 12 noon on the crank. Dead center top side. That and I got struck in the thumb with shrapnel when I was hitting the pistons from the top side. It bleed like I hit an artery. Stop production. Fall back and regroup. I took a break to regroup and come up with a strategy. Another plan of attack. This engine is coming out today.
