Working through the trucks to service them etc. for upcoming events. Especially War and Peace Revival 2016. July. Well the 5 tons are ready, now it was the turn of the deuces. My two were worked through, oils changed, brakes adjusted. checks carried out. Belts etc. Then the turn of a friends Deuce. H..y C..p! 3 tires with tubes busted, Wheel nuts Jammed tight, So (Very) fortunate to have bennym45 assisting, we took off the offending wheels, Heat, and a huge T bar, two long pipe extensions and CRACK. (18 times!). After sorting 3 spares from the 'pile' in the shop, and the assistance of the fork lift (too old for jacks etc..) we had the truck re-booted properly and everything good to go with oil changes to engine (molyslip added) and transmission.(molyslip added) greased all round (moly grease) and things checked out as deemed necessary. Come Saturday we are doing the M45 530C fire truck, Then the M62 Wrecker. All will then be ready for the shows upcoming. Heck, just remembered the FV432 has to be serviced as well. Busy days coming up. Impossible without the 'help'. But By way of reward accompanying us the the War and Peace event. With 'Pay' (reward!). well worth it and greatly appreciated. We are as a group targeting to get 11 vehicles to the event. Will post up the run, the show, vehicles etc with pictures. We hope to see some? of Steel soldiers members at the event?.

I can't be there but post time and place. I have a friend in London and I'll convince him he needs to go.

And congrats on the help. It's always nice to have an extra hand around. Make sure they get a nice lunch at the pub if nothing else.

Thanks for the comment, NO beerz! though as they are Cadets helping the group. Drives, Experience and learning, rewards enough. And what they really appreciate my 'helper' has "adopted" the M45 530C fire truck. Loves it..And knows how to use it and it's functions. (he should, he FIXED! most of them unaided.) Patience needed with the vid it takes a while to load and run. bennym45 jumping out to give demo after wiring up flashes and strobes galore.

While I haven't been through England my couple of trips to Ireland taught me to eat at the pubs (I don't drink either). Better food and more reasonably priced than a full service restaurant.
