So I was looking into converting my old M998 to a HL80 transmission to help with gas mileage and speed, but then I found the H-line conversions.
As I saw on their website, its a 500 HP upgrade and 25 MPG for the bio diesel system they put in. Now I do not know much about bio diesel systems, but can they be put in without replacing major components (engine, cooling system, drive train)? Also once the conversion is made, can you still feed the engine diesel and get the same HP and gas mileage bump?
So I was wondering if anyone had done the bio-diesel upgrade to their humvees.
What I'm looking for is a comparison between the two options, mostly looking at which one is less expensive and more effective.
