Are the blinkers supposed to work with the headlights on?

So the blinkers on my HMMWV work when the headlights are off in "Stoplight" but when switched to "Service Drive" the blinkers don't work. Is this normal? Thanks

Could have a bad 3 lever switch....if your wiring is original.

Did you buy NOS US mfg or Chinese knock off? The aftermarket versions I have found have a higher fail rate out of the box.

Take the bulb out of your turn signal lever and see if that fixes it. I have one with LED's that did the same thing and removing the bulb fixed it.

Well all wiring looks good, no clue what to do. I ordered another switch from Eastern Surplus ($100) also ordered another speedometer adapter from them since the key on mine was busted off, so we'll see if a 2nd brand new switch does the trick...

You can test the switch with a multimeter.

So my new usgi switch was bad out of the box. The new one I replaced that one with worked so my lights are now fully functional.
