Can anyone direct me to instructions on installing the rear seat for an M1009? I have the seat but it is not mounted in place.

Thanks

I think I would need some picture to make sure you have everything. Because other then that it is 2 - 1/2" coarse thread bolts for the hinge that bolts to the floor. And you will need 2 - 5/16" coarse bolts for the lock/prop rod if you are going to install that. Very easy. Even a cave man can do it. But post pictures. You may have the wrong seat out of an older model or missing parts on the seat you have.

Welcome back TankGrl, I see you took the plunge and bought the 1009. Now the fun has started, take your time and repair as you go. You will gain a lot of insight and help on this site, but most important of all just have fun.

Driving with the seat propped up. It is to much weight for that weak eye end to support over rough terrain. Admit it you did the Duke of Hazard jump with it. I won't tell anyone. I jump mine all the time so I just let me seat out of latched down.

lol no jumping but I did have the seat propped up for a while during the move. We just bought a house a mile away from where we were living so it was easy enough to make a lot of little trips with the '09.

If it would help, I have one in central Phoenix ( central and camelback) you could compare it to
You're in Phoenix, awesome. May have to meet up sometime and compare notes. We figured it out. My roommate tends to just dive into projects and muscle his way through things. It worked out well this time.

thanks for the advice. here is the seat. figured out how to install it. the person I bought it from had a bunch of loctight on the bolts, so it took some time scrubbing those clean to get them to seat properly. I don't have the prop bar in yet. so I'll look for the bolts you mentioned.

And here she is with her top off.
