I'm headed out in my bobbed deuce to visit the In-laws for the day in Pollock, LA. 300 miles round trip. Top speed 56 mph.

Route:
Hwy 73 in Prairieville to I-10 in Baton Rouge.
I-10 to Hwy 415 in Port Allen.
Hwy 415 to Hwy 190 in Port Allen.
Hwy 190 to I-49 in Opelousas.
I-49 to Hwy 167 in Alexandria.
Hwy 167 to Hwy 165 in Pineville.
Hwy 165 to Hwy 8 in Pollock.

If I see anybody along the way in a military vehicle I'll make sure to honk and wave. I'll post pictures when I get back.

Just got back from my 300 mile trip. No issues whatsoever.

Notes from the journey:
- Reached 200 hours of operation since the Cummins 6BT engine swap
- Reached 3700 miles since engine swap
- Top speed attained: 62mph (down Mississippi River Bridge)
- Highest transmission temperature: 222 F (mashed throttle, up a bridge, after a red light) - came down to 200 in a minute of steady cruise
- Average transmission temperature: 200 F
- Highest boost pressure: 22 psig
- Waves from the public: 2
- Flashing of high beams from vehicles as they passed me at night: 4 times

Notes for pictures:
- Topped off at Valero and put another 37 gallons in Opelousas on way back.
- Fog was dense in the morning. Annoying misting rain in random spots down the interstate.
- The speed limit radar signs clocked me at 55-56 mph consistently.
- In-laws have a camp in Fishville/Pollock off Hwy 8.
- Love the Pineville water tower Christmas lights.

I was so inspired by you and your documented build that I sold my engine and bought a 1995 5.9 Cummins for my deuce. Thanks
