Well, we have a first meet of the year gathering tomorrow, and I decided to carry out an essential task on a friends deuce in our group. (He about knows where the batteries live.)
Thumbs REALLY sore with arthritis?. started out, stopped because of pain, the cadets took over, carried out the task to perfection. Using all the kit and methodically worked through safely to completion. New brake shoes, seals, adjust properly and grease bearings. Now the friends truck is up and running and able to accompany us to the meeting.
The fire truck (M45 530C) is going and so is the wrecker M62. Will post up pictures tomorrow. Hope the weather holds.

Oh My
Cadets, Apprentices,
those interested enough to work to figure it all out ....
To teach is to live
You one lucky

"started out, stopped because of pain,"
One finds when pain stops one CAN NOT reproduce it as it was then
One forgets the pain but not Ones' achievements

Boy you sure are lucky to have such a good group of kids to help out. To actually have a group of kids who want to learn is amazing in itself ! I cannot get my own son to help me here let alone a group of them. All they want to do all day is play their "Video Games" !
