Hi guys. Im new on this forum.I'm an automobile aficionado and have always loved and admired military vehicles. I pulled the trigger and bought a 97 M1078. I'm planning to do a RV conversion but need CAD drawings to do it right. This wont be a backyard build but rather a pro job using my contacts and experience with autos and the help of my fellow steel soldiers.

If my memory is correct (and from my search) that is the closest we have in CAD so far.

Is that CAD model dimensionally accurate?
I think that what I wrote in the original post is still a good expectation of accuracy. It is a "tape measure accurate" model of our M1078.

"The CAD model is fairly accurate for our intended use. The truck bed rails and [habitat] interface areas are probably accurate within 1/8-inch. We included some more aesthetic features like tires, bumpers, and cab to help us visualize how our hab integrates with the overall truck. However, some of these features are less accurate in the CAD model and likely vary from truck to truck, anyway."

I posted the model because I thought it would be helpful to others, but use it at your own risk.
