piston and liner kit

I have a nos piston liner kit. I want to know how many rings this piston has without removing it from the liner. the MFR part number 57k1318 nsn 2815-00-134-0077. Cage52993 This was made in 1994. Also what is a good deal as far as price for a liner kit? Thanks mark.

I can't help you on the number of rings off the top of my head, but I bought a set of 6 complete piston/liners with 2 new style headgaskets included for 465 shipped a few months back. Just checked and seems like eastern is asking 295 per kit. LOL

That seems to be about what they go for on the big auction site. They're definitely not getting any cheaper now that the government isn't selling any more.

They are kinda heavy, so consider shipping cost.
