Hello all I was wondering if there was any difference between a Leece Neville alternator that has JA as the last two letters for the part number and one that has AA as the last two letters for the part number. Both are the 24v and 100a. Are there any differences between the two?

Sorry about that. Now that I read my response it came off as being rude. For that I apologize. It wasn't meant to be. I should have clarified a bit better. The M1010 models and a few other specialty vehicles had 28 Volt Leece Neville alternators. I do not know what specialty vehicles had them but I do recall seeing a few here and there. I believe they were radio trucks. Those also could have just been military built after they left the factory. The M1010 Ambulances though came with 2 Leece Neville 28 volt Alternators. I can get better pics if anyone wants to see them better.
