"Its so passengers can get the drivers attention" per Suprman: https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?167087-Troop-seat-alarm-on-a-m1078&p=2004291&viewfull=1#post2004291

"Troop Transport Alarm Cable" from TM 9-2320-365-20-5 (m1078_TM 9-2320-365-20-5.pdf), page 20-466, and also in all the other TMs that I have.

Sorry I don't know first-hand myself. But a bit of searching in the PDFs and Google did the trick for me. Enjoy!

I've also got a migraine trying to find the electrical and air schematics for my M 1078 A0! I've got so many systems to figure out on my new purchase it's mind boggling! Currently trying to rewire the stater solenoid after a small electrical A little advice… Install both 24 V and 12 V power shut off's at the battery box! Mine is a 98 model which did not come with the shut off's ! Bad idea! I'd love to get a good pic of how the starter solenoid is wired in in relation to the starter.

The “fold out” schematics are not listed in the table of contents. Look at the end of the tech manual. For the FMTV series, I believe they are at the end of the parts manual.

If you didn't know pressing control f at the same time on a PDF is a search. It will drop down a search box on the upper right corner. I use this all of the time
