I have 24vdc on supply
Fuel pump activated on prime but nothing happens going to start
I can jump starter and it spins
Fuel shut off will NOT engage
A little start fluid and motor will run (small amount)

I must be missing something in electrical to main switch panel. Combat over ride does not help?
The unit was pickled . no oil/fuel / batteries or water.
326 hrs on meter but appears to have never been used

Open up the left side door. The control panel is the rear of EVERY gen set. Open the door, squat down, look inside. Looks a tad to the right, there should be a switch there. It's S10, the dead crank switch. See if it's in the RUN position.

I replaced the fuel pump and put 5 gal of fuel back in.... It will now crank with the dead crank switch but not with the front main switch. A light is on that shows low fuel. Will that keep it from cranking on main switch?

Yep, low fuel will not allow it to start and will also cut the fuel pump off from running. Your float may be stuck, if you reach inside your tank and touch the bottom, then move your hand to the right, you should feel the float, move it up and down.

Not likely your issue but anyone searching this thread, make sure the emergency stop switch is pulled out. If it is pushed in, usually there is no power to the panel. It took me a few minutes to figure this out on my first set.

Yes.. Snf if anybody is helping you check behind of them. My guy kept laying his hand on it, till he got a wrench on his elbow....

The main things to check if you have no start at the panel is the e-stop, the breaker behind the panel, and the dead crank switch. Any of those will prevent a crank.

Howdy,
The emergency stop button gets lots of people.

MEP-80x startup routine

In behind the control panel... check all the fuses. The CB1 7.5 breaker, the FU1 fuse,

Oh, and make sure your batteries are charged up fully.
