So it appears everyone is sold out of the short style airpacks for the M35A2. Does anyone have a source of these that are in good condition?

Also, has anyone went from a short airpack to a long airpack incase I can't find a shorty?

The short and long air-packs are totally interchangeable.

I measured the ID a couple weeks ago in order to try to find some tubing the same size but lost my notes. I remember it was right on a size, 4.250, 4.500 etc? Could someone who has one apart measure the ID with calipers ? If I can get the tubing I can part the ends off and tig them back on, it will require building a fixture for the lathe and one for welding but it can be done.

I can send one of my crappy housings that is pitted if you'd like. I was saving it to work on later, but if your willing to head the "fix it" front, I'll get it out asap.

That would be great if you could "sleeve" the cylinders ! I know that the brake company I mentioned earlier back east is doing that. They are using stainless steel sleeves. I also believe they are lathing the piston to fit in the smaller bore. The leather seal is able to adjust to the smaller size very easily. I tried to pin down the manager on "exactly" what they do but he got a little "cagey" after awhile. I believe if someone got themselves set-up to do this procedure they would have a ton of customers !

It couldn't be from me since I just got these kits and haven't sold one yet.
I was referring to "Precision Engineering Rebuilders" . They are a pretty big company and about the only one out there still rebuilding our "air-pacs" and master cylinders especially the duel master cylinders. I've bought parts from them before and have talked with the shop manager quite a bit.
