CDR Valve Hose

Is the hose under the CDR valve available at any parts store or dealer? Trying to find a replacement for mine as it looks like someone has been into it before trying to repair it. Wanting to replace my CDR valve but don't want to until I can find the hose as well. I figure if I try to take it off now I have a good chance of the hose just falling apart. Any part numbers on this hose? 84 6.2CDR Valve Hose.jpgCDR Valve Hose.jpg

I may have a new one. But more then likely a used one. From new they did not have metal hose clamps. They had plastic squeeze clamps. The metal hose clamps tend to chew into the rubber a bit hard. I can look. A new one will not be cheap if I have one. A used good as new one on the other hand is nothing special. If I had to I could fab one from plumbing/hose parts. Really does little but breath and very low pressure. Let me know either way.

Just did the cdr on my truck, there's a seller on ebay who has cdrs for $17.99, which is dirt cheap compared to everywhere else I've looked. Came unblemished brand new in the packaging. Seems to work, I haven't seen the usual oil leak on the top side of the motor since I did it.

It may come up in a search for military 6.2 diesel, or HMMVW. There's no reference to any civilian trucks in the listing iirc.

His CDR valve isn’t the issue. Those are easy to find right now.
The hard to find rubber hose is.

Cucvrus will fix him up with the correct part.

Right, saw that he seemed to have that part of it already covered. Just figured the cheap cdrs were worth mentioning since op is planning to replace that as well.

I sure could use one. I found the GM part number but seems like they are all long gone and no aftermarket available. I am having a lot of oil consumption and had planned on replacing the CDR valve as well but didn't want to take it off until I found the hose. I am hoping that the new CDR might help with the oil usage but I am sure it has ring issues as well. Found a new OE CDR on ebay I am ordering. Anyway I would sure be interested in the hose if you have one. I appreciate it.

I found a CDR on ebay for about $19 and "supposed" to be OE. Thanks for the headup though.
