Need to transport from Greenville, NC to somewhere much closer to AZ

Found a head for my engine rebuild, but it’s in NC and I’m in AZ. Need to know if anyone is willing to help out with transportation even if it has to be hand-to-hand once or twice. I’m still waiting to hear back from Fastenal for the shipping quote but I’m willing to bet it’s not going to be cheap.

I just shipped an entire underbody protection kit from CA to MS for $155 bucks with fastenal. Took a week and a half. You should be fine. If they don’t answer you in two days call the 800 number and “remind” them you need a quote.

Fastenal Has not responded to multiple peoples quotes over the past week.

Weight on that head is approx what? 500lbs?

Business address with forklift/dock in NC to a freight terminal in Flagstaff is $180 for a 48x40x24" 550lb pallet thru my carrier.

Nearest freight terminal if they do not have a business address is either Raleigh or Jacksonville, NC

Thanks guys for those numbers! That makes me feel much better! I only sent the request on Saturday so technically they have until tomorrow to reply according to their website and the do-not-reply email. Weight of the head is only 186# (probably bare) so I’m guessing it’ll be fine.

Finally got the quote from Fastenal, $205 according to the numbers I used. Once the seller gets the head ready for shipment and I get the final dimensions and weight from the seller I can get an exact price. I just used the the size of the head and 250# (about 65# more than the head itself)
