Anyone know how much a pair of shims/spring perches are going for? I read you need to mill some off for radial tires and I want to be able to change back if things go wrong.

You won't need to change them back. Radials tend to search at the near zero caster angle that the bias plies are happy running with. The bias plies will be even happier running with some positive caster. One thing I recommend is run your truck after you put radials on. Mine was a handful on the road and I did the modification that Gringletaube highlighted. I have two friends that installed radials and had no issues. One truck I drove and the other belongs to a mechanical engineer who is very picky. They had good results and made no changes. Over the years I've learned there are actually 3 different spring perches and all have different caster angles. I guess I got the old style that needed to be modified. My truck ran great on NDT's but once I put some T831 Firestones on, it was scary to drive.
