Anyone know the weight of an empty m1010 box?

Give or take 2.000 lbs. I scrapped 2 that were partially stripped out. Hope that helps.

Oh man that heavy. I wanted to put one on a m116a3 frame. That would not give me much payload after mounting that on there.

I have a 101 frame here. It would fit on one of them.

Take an M1008 frame or an M1010 frame and A frame the front frame. That would be the easiest. You could put a tool box upfront and a jack. Done right it would look ok. You can get an axle if you want to shed a few lbs by eliminating the 14 bolt axle. Electric brakes.

One of the Drash trailers might be a decent starting point for an m1010 box hauler.

I have a 101 frame here. It would fit on one of them.

they will fit but almost max out the payload.

Almost. But with a good axle and heavier springs it would be a great start. I think the project I have with mime will be easier. I am just making a flat bed. Someday. Maybe. Then again maybe NOT.
