Hey folks; have 2 mep002a would like to replace all the braided fuel line! Any sources of pre mfg, ready to go, quality sources appreciated.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Well there you go, I'll do a little research in my neck of the woods and see who I have out there willing and able!! I do agree there just isn't that many hoses and none of any length, and a strong believer in ONE & DONE!!!You CAN make your own. The fittings are removable. Find suitable hose, and try it. I will admit, I tossed out more then a few "test" hoses, before I perfected my technique. But it is possible. If someone here in the forum has a HISTRU, or you know someone who has something like it, easy street.
If it were my set, I would go find me an aircraft grade hose maker, and simply pay the man what its worth. Then you NEVER have to worry again. At the end of the day, there is not all that much hose on the gen set.
So how do they fasten to the fittings?i just reuse the fittings and make my own. i buy quality fuel hose at the parts store. haven't had any problems
look at the fitting and you will notice that the center part unscrews from the outside. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzYHLqmXFgcSo how do they fasten to the fittings?
