My water pump stared leaking at the shaft... Anyone know where to find a water pump for the M211 (GMC 302)?

I've been searching all over and can't find anything reasonable.

All I can find is a listing on eBay, but its $250!!!!!

There's gotta be something cheaper...

I got one awhile back from O'Reilly's Auto Parts. - "It's part number CP36 at O'Reilly's. When I went for a water pump they wanted to look it up by vehicle even though I knew the number. It made them happy to find it when we looked for a late 1950's GMC pickup truck with the 302 engine in it."

I’m curious, pretty sure I’ve read this in one of threads, but what kind of luck have people had rebuilding them? I see Memphis offers a kit and a new pump. Mine doesn’t leak but the bearing has some play.

I would say fair. It is really old technology. Not exactly a modern seal. Some drip, bit no stream. If I could find the shaft and bearings reasonable, I would look into different seals.
