M35a2 WIRE HARNESS

I'm in electronics, so it's in my abilities, just haven't messed with this particular type of connector. Here are the pictures I just took, do you think it is salvageable?

FYI; you can also just buy new connectors from Erik's.

Thanks for the help guys, I was able to repair the main harness on my 70 deuce. One question, has anyone ever successfully repairs the main lighting switch?

Yes, there's a thread around here somewhere where cranetruck dissected one. I looked for it and couldn't find it. Honestly, they're so cheap you're better off replacing it.

I agree I could purchase a new one, but it'd be nice to have a spare instead of scrap.

The light switch is repairable and rebuild able. There is a great write up on doing just that. To take apart start soaking with pb blaster where the front and back halves go together. Then tap the front outside edge to relive the snap ring in the middle. Use a pick and small flat head screwdriver to remove snapping. Be careful not to distort it has to go back on. Once the snap ring is out ( may need a clamp to hold halts together enough to get snap ring out) carefully separate the halts overtop of a large baking pan. There are a lot of small parts. When apart clean everthing the lightly de oxidize the contacts. Lube everthing with dielectric grease and reassemble per pictures in the write up.

Am reviving this thread as I have a 1970 M35A2 w/w that has the original harnesses on it and as usual the insulation is giving out after 39 years. Yes I know, imagine that. LOL
Anyway this is a great threat but latest info is a few years old now and things have changed for M35 trucks in the last 8 or so years.
Anyone found a good harness recently for front or rear or both?
I am going to replace all of the harness due to age and turn signal issues.
I will also run a couple of spare 14 gage wires for add-on circuits down the road like rear fog light and backup lights, etc.
Thoughts? Opinions?
Perhaps PMs to avoid mentioning vendor names?
Am really anxious to replace mine quickly. Been trying to fix issues for the last two months but I need to get my truck inspected,
titled, and registered.

Last I looked for a new front harness I see I could have bought a whole parts truck. Some said they would make them for about $1800.

Around the time this thread was active, I tried to salvage my Deuce's wiring harness but it was too dry-rotted...so I bought one from Erik's. It fit perfectly & is still working flawlessly. Worth every penny.
