I'm about to start the resto on my M38A1 and I'd like to find the correct color the USMC used in Nam. We mostly used the M151 Mutt but had a few M38A1s used for comms.

I think the Forest Green #34052 was found on USMC vehicles from WWII to Vietnam in Semi-Gloss or Lusterless.
Sorry 34052 Lusterless and 24052 for semi-gloss.

FS 34052 is the colour code for flat Marine green. If you want semi-gloss, it is 24052.

Rapco Parts has it in gallons or spray cans, I've used their paint for 20+ years and been very happy with it.

Lets see this jeep as you progress!

Cheers

You might want to check with Midwest Military. I have used Rapco alot but love Midwest's TM9 Ordnance's paint!
