Getting the 998 about to fire up for the first time since I got her in October 😬
Finishing up the fuel system and was considering replacing the sensor on top of the fuel filter with a dial pressure gauge.. Then I started thinking about having it in the cab on dash.. The. I started wondering......Has anyone used the wiring from the Kulite Sender on top of fuel filter housing to send a signal to a digital pressure dial??? image.jpgThere are 4 wires coming off sensor, wondering if 2 are power in and 2 are for the pressure out... anyone ever probed this thing or know how it actually works ??? Thanks for any intel..

Here's a picture or two of what I did to be able to monitor the fuel & oil pressure. While not as convenient as in the dash (not a lot of room anyway)

If experiencing an issue... the hood goes up anyway. Gauges oil filled, stainless steel, nice quality, USA. 16 bucks on epay. I tee-ed the oil line too as a backup.

Cheap insurance and easy to do, CAMO

Posted this mod before. Fuel runs around 5 PSI at idle. Interesting it holds pressure for 30 seconds after shut down.

Thanks...have seen this mod earlier and had planned on doing something similar...Just though I might try to use the pressure sensor thats already on there.. Ill do some probing on it and see which wires do what.. If anyone else has info please feel free..
