Rebuilt 250 has maxed out oil pressure

Just completed rebuild, in frame kit of the 818. Now it maxes out the pressure on the gauge. Any thoughts on this? Thanks
Manual gauge or electric? Verify with a mechanical gauge. Electric could be all over

Or use a meter and see how many ohms the sender unit has while it is running generally 1ohm per psi

Put a known good gauge in one of the ports. Verify against the dash gauge. No troubleshooting for high OP per Cummins, but, a stuck regulator will cause it. Did your failure put debris into the oil pan? If so, godd possibility debris in the regulator.
