Need a 803a engine

Looking for DN4M engine for replacement in a MEP 803a. Upper Midwest or Great Lakes region preferred as I am in Michigan. Does not need to be complete or running. Mainly need a block, but would also prefer one with a good crankshaft.

If you want to open your scope, you can also specify that you would settle for a Lister Petter LPW4 (same thing but not Onan branded).

If you don't see anything available (there was a 813 machine with huge hours, but a newer looking engine, in eastern PA as of a few weeks ago)... I would reach out to Gary Jones at Diesel Electric Services (gsj@gci.net ). His company bought up the assets of Lister Petter America, and he was extensively involved in the reman process on these sets with the military. He can help you if no one else can.

I would buy another 803A. And keep the old one for parts.

Or a MEP-813. Lots of stuff on it are interchangeable.

I don't recommend them at all. What I received from them was not what was promised. The photos they sent were not of the engine I received even though they said it was. Parts had been recently removed. I paid way too much for what I got.
