New to me MEP-803a

New guy here.
Did some googling to see what I really bought.
Searches kept leading me here, tons of info to be had!

Haven’t had a chance to put a load on it yet.
I plan on back feeding the house from my shop.

Looks like it has the fuse mod installed, I don’t think it’s been rest? Not sure how to tell though.
There is a tag on the block that says remanufactured engine with a serial number.

Smokes more then I like, sounds like I need to run it hard for awhile.

Is there a way to tell what year it is?

Check data plates on front of generator. Mine was manufactured in 10/03. Reset tag - upper right - show reset date of 3/12. If reset tag has been ripped off and your machine is sitting on a trailer check CARC paint date...it's usually the same date as the generator reset.
