After a months-long wait, my Corbeau seats arrived. WELL WORTH THE WAIT! Acceptional quality. Perfect stitching, unlike the Smittybilt seats I often see in these.

I had to make custom aluminum seat rails for the driver's side and remove the steel plate on the passenger side but the result was spectacular. Now all the seats are level with one another and it looks better than any H1 in my opinion.

Wow. Looks great! What model seats are those? Where did you buy them? I see multiple places online with pricing all over the place.

Thanks.

What type of heater core is that?
I think you're referring to the sound bar. It's a Wetsounds Stealth HD6. It has the bluetooth controller for the entire system and has 250 watts/ch. I also have a 500w RMS amp powering the 15" JL sub, also rated at 500 RMS and two dome tweeters in the front corners of the dash powered by a 275 watt/ch amp.

I plan on adding an additional 2 soundbars behind the front seats (bolted to the crossmember), and additional two tweeters for the rear passengers and another 500W amp and 15" sub stacked on the existing to make a floor-to-ceiling bass tower.

All this is running off of 2 ORION 12V 70A converters and a 6 ferhat capacitor.

These are Corbeau Sport seats.

I called Corbeau directly, rather than deal with a middleman. They do make them custom order, so it's about a 2 month wait.

Again, the pictures don't do them justice. They are the best quality aftermarket seats I've seen in terms of detail. We'll see how well the vinyl holds up.

"M203" equipped pistol, nice.
I'd like to take that credit, but it's not an actual M203. It's a Spikes Tactical flare launcher. To avoid the NFA hassle, it's limited to 37mm, not 40, smooth bore, not rifled, and I can't use anything designed to destruct. Only 1.4G explosives, like flares, fireworks, etc. Basically, if it's designed to be shot "at" people, then it's considered AOW by the NFA and is subject to a tax stamp. If it's designed to be shot "around" people, then you're good to go (i.e., smoke, bird bombs, etc.) Even a bean bag makes it a "destructive device." Still pretty damn cool when you fire it out at the range!

I like the seats and I might consider purchasing 2 for the front.

I am getting 1/4 slider plates to re-enforce the sides. Then I will add 1/4 inch triangular tube steel exterior tubes to those sliders, and I will place a 1/4 thick walled 1x2 tubes steel inside just lateral to the seats that attaches to the outer construct.

Then I will delete the HMMWV factory side impact B-pillar strut/braces that limit front seat travel, and set-up front seats that recline and push back more.

Then maybe side impact DOM tubes to replace the B-pillar strut/braces to connect from the inner tube steel to the overhead turret bracing that acts as a partial cage.

At least that is the plan.

The B-pillar braces are an important point. Most seats fit the HMMWV, except for leg room. This ultimately limits you to a 20" seat bottom. What attracted me to these seats was that they looked like conventional BMW/MB sport seats but only had 20" depth! Most other seats are 21-22". With these seats, there is plenty of rear leg room and the passenger seat isn't that awkward with it's fitment against the engine tunnel-another hurdle with most seats.

Many of the YouTubers use Corbeau Moab seats - why??? These are so much better looking in my opinion!
