All,

I removed my bed (don’t have it anymore).

Can someone give me the measured locations of the mudflats again? Maybe off of something easy like the doubler plat on an m1083? Or the center pivot?

Thanks in advance!

They attach to the rear “bumper” / light pods.

If you’ve lost the bed and such just bolt on slip in (semi truck style) brackets

I removed the original mud flaps and kept them.

My bed is removed…. So I do not know where the front ones used to be in relation to the tires. I am adding stuff in front of the tires, so I would like to know the stock spacing.

For the rear ones, my frame is now extended…. I could estimate based on the extension…. But I would prefer the actual measurement.

If anyone could measure, that would be helpful. If not, I can improvise, but I prefer to get the real numbers.

Thanks in advance.

What exactly do you need? Front of rear tire? Aft of rear tire? Distance from center of wheel? LMTV or 5-ton? *I don't know that I've even seen your truck yet.
Sorry if I was not clear.

1083A1

Need front flaps to pivot on the double bogie and rear flap to pivot on center bogie.

I can figure the rest out from there.

You should go get one! That sounds like the only logical solution here.

If you still need the info here are some pictures.

It a 2002 M1083A1.

The front mud flap basically lines up with the rear of the muffler. Maybe a 1/2 inch just behind the rear of the muffler.

The bottom of the mud flap is about 6 inches out from the front of the rear intermediate tire.

Hope this helps. If you need more info or pictures let me know.

Be safe.

Tom.
