Does anyone know what manufacture makes the rocker switches on the dash above the steering wheel. For example the ignition switch with squiggly line.
I am pretty sure its a US based company.

Thanks

I want to thank you for your recommendation on Rome Truck Parts out of Rome, GA. They carry most of the rocker switches for the LMTV's. Got a new ignition rocker switch for $21.
Also, thanks for sending the fuse panel - got it today. Let me know what you will charge for the head light ring. Thanks

Last headlight ring I bought new for $12.00 which came from a company that got them from AM general (they are the same as the Humvee and many others).

Do you by chance remember the part # for the Ignition rocker you got from Rome Truck Parts?

Hey guys, the "Hazard " switch on my m1084 is bustes and i need another one for mechanical inspection. Any idées? Same vendors as above?
Generic units are available, search for 44mm x 22mm switches. I have a post in my build thread on what I found:

But they aren't green nor do they have a NSN so clearly someone can't charge $60 each for those $12 switches.

No, even if they are better they will never truly be "surplus" thus not better.

Buy *real* surplus. Much more scarce. Totally worth the price gouging.

You don't want the real trucks laughing at you, do you?

;p

hey guys, thanks for your inputs. Ok my in dash (m1084 A0) Hazard switch is busted. I took it out and the part number is 511 197. Checked Rome truck parts and found the switch.....But....now i wionder if the switch i took out is ...the proper switch cause Rome have "special switch only for hazard warning!!! Is it possible that the switch i took out "511 197" is not the proper hazard switch? If it was the wrong switch from the start does anybody know the proper part number? Thanks again

Hey friend, where on earth is the yellow part spredsheet????
.
Don't know for sure, but I think the parts spreadsheet is a "sticky" at the top of the LMTV FMTV forum.

The most difficult thing about these trucks is figuring out what you really want. Part number? Instructions? Which ever it is seems more difficult than it should be - BUT - the more you use the TM's the smarter you get. You eventually can figure it out for yourself with the books.

I have attached the page with the part number on it.
