Help with military markings

Good afternoon y’all,
I purchased this m54a2 recently and am trying to figure out what branch of the military it belonged to. All the exterior markings have since been erased by the elements and the only numbers/letters that remain are inside the doors. This is a picture of all that I see. If anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated!! A general search of the internet comes up with nothing! Thank you!

Your truck is a 1968. It shows up in the historical database, see post 4, M54A2WW file, page 34: Find "5F4585"
No unit data is given unfortunately.

Yes, 5F 4585 would be a registration number for a US Army vehicle. The Marines and Air Force both used different numbering systems. If you need help with marking when you are ready to put them back on, check out my webpage for markings www.deltateamdecals.com , although not listed there I can make the 5 ton markings, they are basically the same as the M35 kit, just different tire pressure markings.
