After reading all of this. How have the finishes held up? I am in San Diego with some pretty extreme weather. Should I be worried. Seriously, is it easy to touch up? Nicks and dings? Thanks!!!

Everything I’m seeing here say durability is good. I know a fellow that painted his WWII dodge with latex and it looks great, is gasoline resistant and very easy to touch up. I will painting my truck this summer with behr paint.

We painted our Trucks and after 5 years it was still holding. Trucks are outside in the weather. Very easy to touch up!

The 383 Green fades on horizontal surfaces but is still better than actual CARC Green. On vertical surfaces it is darker, and when wet all of it looks like the original paint job. Most of mine has been painted five years or so in South Carolina heat.

I apologize if these pictures show up too big on some screens but can anyone give me guidance as to which colors these are (with corresponding codes if possible? This is a 1991 BMY M923A2. I have an M105A3 trailer I want to paint the same color and also have for touch ups.

Thank you!

How can I find the green paint code for my vehicle? It’s a 1969 m35a2. Thanks
Depends on whether you want the 'current' green which is 383 green, (FSS 3409? if I remember correctly), the USMC green (FSS 3405? I think), or the old original Olive Drab green, which you will have to find in the Behr Paint threads. There is a list of ALL FSS paint codes there! If you are looking for flat green, start with 34xxx numbers (3 means flat, 4 means shades of green, last three is the exact shade). HTH.

Hi, I have a 2009 M1165A1 USMC, which I thought it would be painted in Desert Tan 686A and ordered the attached Behr (Dynasty base, flat) paint code from Home Depot, but it appears very different, darker and with a different hue (inside the marked area in the picture). Is this difference because of the discoloration over time? Or do I have a different color code on the truck? I also got Sand 33303 but it appears even darker. I also ordered Sherwin Williams CARC 686A which I didn't test it yet and was thinking to use Behr to minimize chemical exposure as I don't have CARC painting conditions.
Thank you!

Has anyone painted an engine block with Behr Marquee? These LDT’s run pretty cool. Wondering if it would hold up. Latex starts to degrade at 256 degrees F.
