Ok, so this is the week!

I hope everyone is excited about a few days in the nice fall weather with our their friends.

I want to remind everyone about Memphis Equipment's gracious help in sponsoring the event, without them, it would cost all of us a lot more to enjoy this event. I hope everyone will throw them business, even if it's something small and let them know the rally appreciates them.

Also, Old Guard Graphics, in lovely Athens, Ga. has done our t-shirts for years and their graphic artists are second to none. They have helped us bring the rally shirts to fruition and they are a great company (I also buy my company t-shirts from them).

Looking forward to seeing all of you later this week!

This may have already been covered but I didn't notice it anywhere while I was scanning over previous pages.

Is there anywhere to have a central location for a fire for everyone together around?

There's a central fire pit in each camping area I am bringing enough wood for one evening, maybe we can find somewhere near buy some.
I have a cousin that's been cutting up a lot of wood, he gets them off of jobs because he's a tree surgeon and he sells wood on the weekends.

This is the reason I asked because I was going to offer to donate a load of wood if we had a place to have a fire.

Bobby Brown was an excellent choice for the rally, short of the trails, I for one had a great time visiting with old friends, making a few new ones and getting some great deals on parts. Gunnermac is already working on trails for next year. Hope we can grow the event wherever it lands in the future.

Just started a photo thread lets see your photos.

I'll be honest in that I was sceptical with how this years event would go and in fairness, I should have given it a better shot. With the whole 'rona thing going on last year and the change of venue this year, I wasn't sure how it would go. I never cared for Durhamtown as I never hit the trails there and the camping area was only so-so, so I always made it a day trip and went for the camaraderie of being around other people with similar interests, etc. Had I kept that in mind, I would have done it differently this year. The camping area was very nice, well maintained and there were more ways to accommodate attendees than at Durhamtown (plenty of campsites with water/electric, pioneer sites and yurts). Assuming it's there again next year, I plan on bringing the 5th wheel out and staying for the duration of the event.

As for trail rides, I guess I should have paid more attention to the area where the park was at. There are definitely possibilities for trail rides next year - the Parksville Loop isn't terribly far at all from the campground. The Parksville Loop is 125 or so miles of forest trails, creek crossings, etc. that would certainly satisfy the trail riding itch. There are a couple of bridges on the loop though, so those with big vehicles may not be able to go. Now that I know where the park is (less than an hour from my house), I plan on scouting out a good location to pick up the trail near the campground and see how suitable it is for bigger vehicles than my humvee. I'll keep @clinto and @Gunnermac updated if it's something they'd like to keep tabs on for next year.
