Depends on how patient you can be. The Technical Manuals explain how to do the job. Might want to start there. TM 9-2320-272-23-3 has a set of step by step
"How To" directions on Page 0409-1 (PDF Page 585 in the version that I have).
The
inner retaining ring is most likely going to make you cuss. It isn't hard, but it
is difficult sometimes. There is a groove that ring has to fit into and force fitting it won't work. It requires patience and on a greasy slick axle housing just will not work. CLEAN it really good. Get all the grease out of the way. That would help more than anything else...
