I plan to be there with my M915A4R2 and may have a trailer with something on the back to tag along. Not sure yet on what though.

Well, the M715 is always a hit at the museum and ready for a trip.
I can’t afford the 4.5 mpg to drive the Gasser M35 there.
The whistler M35A2 has a mis I think is a blown rear head gasket so it isn’t coming Unless I get some unexpected free time to repair it.
The M1009’s are ready to go as well.
I have been perfecting camping in the Cowdog and kind of want to bring it. I have also just last weekend finished some upgrades to my car haul trailer. So I think the Cowdog needs to pull another vehicle.

Colton is now married and living in Wellborn. Maybe I can convince them to show up if I bring RED to them before hand. Then I can trailer the M715 behind the Cowdog.

See what I mean about choices?

Well I certainly don't have that many choices, I just wonder which would make a bigger splash, the Duravee a M998/Duramax conversion or the Detroit a M998 with a 6.2L and a 6L80 6 speed, and POSSIBLY a turbo GEP 6.5L if I get off my A$$

I guess some perspective is needed.

When we first started doing this thing Mullins didn't want our "new" military vehicles at his WWII show. He and his people had turned several of us away from even parking at his event in our Vietnam era vehicles. So, Lincoln got us in with the offroad ranch and we just gathered there to play with our trucks. Thus all we did for several years was play with the trucks in the rock quarry, convoy to a BBQ place for lunch, play with our trucks and visit with new and old friends. Vehicle maintenance was a popular sport at these events. One year I flat towed Pistolnut's M35A2 behind mine so we could all redo his brake system and electrical front harness. Fun was had by all.

Then the Mullins people reached out to Lincoln asking if we could bring our now popular and wanted vehicles to their event. They even promised to let us in and park as a group in a prominent location on the grounds. So, Lincoln organized it all along with a law enforcement convoy escort to and from the museum. Some years nobody even went on any of the trails at the offroad ranch. Or if any trails were hit, they were ones we could see from the camp area. Basically, we went from an offroad bash to a camp and show mindset.

A lot of those years I would trailer my 1967 Austin Cooper S sports car to the Rally so I could go autocross it 5 miles down the highway on Sunday mornings. Then the world went nuts. No more autocross events, no more events at all. Last year several of us gathered at Lake Bryan for camping Friday night with some going to the museum Saturday and others just home.

So, I am looking at this year as a return to the camp and show events with so many new people interested we might get some trail time in as well. Because once you drive your M35 off a cliff and into a pit with living to tell about it. You really don't do it again. Unless your name is Fuzzy. Then you do it in a HMMT, several times. All of my vehicles have gone off the cliff, through the woods and over the hills so that part isn't in my must do check list anymore.

That is why what vehicle to bring needs to cover a wide range of needs depending on what we end up doing.

OK so I am still a little unclear, are present conflict vehicles going to be welcomed to this event?

"Unless your name is Fuzzy" I died laughing.
