Hi Everyone,
Im from Kentucky and going to be joining the generator club. I currently have a couple of construction grade generators. But with all the newer more sensitive tvs, computers, even heating and ac has boards in them. Kinda Leary of using them now.
So I figured I would upgrade and the mep 802 would probably get me by with no ac. But an 803 would probably run my central ac.
What are your thoughts? Any guide's or such as to figure out my best route to go?

Thanks
Booger

Most electronic devices have a power supply as their first entry point of AC power. Those power supplies then provide DC to the actual circuitry of the device. They usually have a wide range of acceptable voltages and frequencies, and are not particularly sensitive to non-perfect AC waveforms.

I'm not guaranteeing that all your equipment will run fine on dirty AC, but it's generally not true that modern electronics are more picky than older equipment.

Yes figure out how much you need before you pick a 802 or 803...I did not and got a 803 figuring bigger is better...I can run my entire house with everything on with the 803 no problem...thing is the engines need to be loaded up to keep running right...gotta get hot...mine barely tries...other thing is the fuel consumption...if you don't need the 803 get the 802...it will do a good bit.
