No I believe this is a piece of the flap that covers the + battery terminal. It has a right angle mold in it. The gasket on the muffler plate is die cut round, no angles. That goes on the muffler exhaust.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!

That is a cheap knockoff to the real ultimate wellnut upgrade. The O ring does not have a channel to seat into... so depending on how well you align it upon installation... chances are its going to leak. Also, time to replace my well nuts and read quite a bit but I have not seen the recommendation to use these https://greenmountaingenerators.com/product/mep802a-mep803a-fuel-tank-well-nut-a3816/. They seem to be the best option.
Its definitely not for the exhaust, too small . Ok, so this thread is the correct well nut to use? https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/ultimate-well-nut-repair.171091/page-8That is a cheap knockoff to the real ultimate wellnut upgrade. thank youYes, if you can find it in stock. If you cannot, the grey nitrile OEM style are available from SS user @Suprman . They are the improved material compared to the standard install.
Yikes, on a second look, you are right. That looks like half of a battery terminal cover.

I've actually never seen a square cut exhaust gasket... they all have been round (though the plate is square)Yes, its a broken off part of a battery clamp cover. The muffler gasket is normally square. But the color is close to what you have in your hand.
