Wolfer sells a lot of parts with deceptive wording. Most of the parts I've ever looked at appear to be chinese in originwolfer-parts on ebay sells them and he's pretty good source to buy from
That sucks, I was about to buy a generator from him but ended up getting it from mrarthuherrer0, I don't think he sells the regulators separately thoughWolfer sells a lot of parts with deceptive wording. Most of the parts I've ever looked at appear to be chinese in origin
Back when my regulator failed, I bought a used one from TrailworthyFab for $200. Unfortunately their store page is closed now, so no idea if they will be back or not.T

Yep, I have heard and noticed the same. Everyone told me to run from Wolfer as far as I could when I first started my truck.Wolfer sells a lot of parts with deceptive wording. Most of the parts I've ever looked at appear to be chinese in origin
I called and emailed Trailworthy for 3 months and never got a response. Unfortunately I think they must be kaput.Back when my regulator failed, I bought a used one from TrailworthyFab for $200. Unfortunately their store page is closed now, so no idea if they will be back or not.
I've bought things from Wolfer before. As long as you are aware that the origin is (usually) not the USA. Then you can make an informed decision on the expected quality of the part vs the cost.Wolfer sells a lot of parts with deceptive wording.
