Electrical schematic needed for M1083A1, turn signals & backup wires

I have a 2001 M1083A1 manufactured 11/01, SN 16126 for what's it's worth. I'm trying to wire up a bird's eye view camera system, and need to tap into the turn signal and backup light positive wires. The only schematic I have found is for later models starting at SN 18,000 and I'm not sure if there are differences that would matter or not.
If anyone has the schematic for my particular serial number group, that would be much appreciated! Or if anyone can point me to which connector under the breaker panel and which wires those may be. I can at least get the turn signal wires from the column switch if I need to but I still need to find the wire for the backup light. Some of the markings on the wires are rubbed off and it's hard to see.

is 2001 the 3126 engine? ..... Pop in some pics of what door handles do you have? What Battery protection box? What PDP (fuse/relay "Power distribution panel" you have? This may clue to if it is more like the A1 schematic or more like the A0 schematic

granted there is folk who know their shiat so well in here they can answer you out of there head.

It's a 3126 with the original small rectangle Volvo style handles that are held in by a tab and one screw. It doesn't have a battery protection box either it never did or the guy I bought it from took it off.

Id say the fellow you bought it from took the battery protection off if there is not one back there by ass and of spare tire. Does it have/look to have had battery disconnects switches back by the NATO plug?

It appears that the A1 variant originated in 1999 with the 3126 engine. In, 2005 the door handles changed.

No NATO plug either I bought it from d&b equipment in Wisconsin they removed the NATO plug on the l-shaped flange bracket and installed a disconnect switch. Pretty stupid location because then you have a key dangling there as you're driving. I'm going to have to change all that.

do believe that year of A1 for your needs of you will do fine with even an A0 schematic. The Trans harness would be different with yous as would maybe the charging circuit..... but neither of those scramble the info your looking for

Right at the NATO port is where S&S/BAE installed the battery disconnects on later models. No key though, just a switch.

If I could find a NATO Port I might reinstall one and put this disconnect in some hidden location.
I'm planning on doing a Sean Fillner (Fastidious Restomods) battery box upgrade anyway. I apparently have the same size battery he used and anyway mine are just held in by bungee cords, how I received it which I do not like.

Yea pre s/n 18550, it is basically an A0 with a 3126 and a circuit board power dist panel… Guess they had to use up all the A0 parts before they could go into full A1 production:) Does it have LED’s on the alternator regulator?

At any rate the turn signals and reverse lighting are all wired basically the same way across the 3 models:)

I haven't dug into an A1 with the circuit board. Do you have TB1 under the circuit board?
I wired cameras to the turn signals and the reverse light but it was on an A0. I tapped the left signal at TB1-48, the right on TB1-44 and reverse from the 490 wire coming off connector P51 (in the dash).
Not sure what camera system you're using, I just used a screen with 3 video inputs; no birds eye view fanciness. I had to use off-delay relays for the turn signals or my screen would flash on/off with the turn signal.

Hopefully that's useful but if not, it was free. ;)

Yea I think they may have done away with TB1, and just spliced the harnesses as necessary when they upgraded the relay panel. It is hard to tell on the early A1 trucks, as I have found no specific wiring diagram for them. TB1 is under a cover to the left on the A0 panel and there is no place for it once the longer A1 circuit board type panel is fitted. They appear to have kept the TB2 ground buss On the later A1 trucks, so it is probably there on the early A1 trucks…

The A0 also has no switched 12v ignition. It is shown all over these drawings.

Frankly, it would not have been worth the time for them to punch out new schematics for every iteration of FMTV. We would have appreciated it - and if those cartoons exist they’re hidden deep in the bowels of some dusty Davy Jones type footlocker; if they exist & are ever found it would garner the same amount of attention as finding the Dead Sea scrolls.

Boy, I sure wish I knew (with confirmation) which version of M1083”A1” I truly have. I’ve read lots of schematics before but it’s been a coons age. And these are a real joy. I’ve been tempted to use various color thin point hi-lighter to trace out a couple of different circuits. I might as well paint the entire page on every page rainbow colors.

Despite it being a constant colonoscopy prep - I keep going back to those thin lines that never seem to terminate……
