M35A2 Multifuel Stalling At High Rpm

hi im a bit new to these trucks I have a m35a2 and it has a multifuel turbo lnline six

I usually run a mix of filterd used motor oil and Diesel#2

so my problem is truck has run great for 2 years now I do regular maintenance on rotation on her based on the user manuals
but last night as I was driving home around 1200 rpm she dies and drops rpm then starts again and will do it regularly at 1200 rpm it runs fine at lower speeds I was thinking it was dirty fuel or a clog but I'm not to familiar with these rigs and was wondering if any of yall had some advice or pointers

Replace your fuel filters before you do anything else. That includes the one on the passenger side, not just the two on the engine driver's side. If it still runs bad we will work from there.

Been there done that, lol. Anytime the truck surges or loses power/stalls when more fuel is needed, it's always been the fuel filters.
I run wmo as well, so as a good preventative maintenance program, I change the fuel filters (all 3) when I do an oil change. Typically 2-3 times per year, but fall and spring are usually it as it sucks to do in the hot summer heat and sucks to do it when it's freezing cold, lol. If you filter your wmo well, this helps to preserve the life of the filters longer otherwise they clog up fast! Ask me how I know....

Yep, any diesel I’ve had experience with, 99% of the time if it acts funny; change the fuel filters! HAHA
