I don't see anything listed in the TM for the parts on the top end. Is this engine the same as any civvy engines?

Would be the same yes, but I think they use only sealer now.

Any specific year engine? I see that they go from 1984-1994?

All 6.2/6.5L use the same valve cover gasket, I use "right stuff gasket maker" (90 min.) and let it cure overnight.

Cork gaskets not used. Mogman is on point with gasket maker. If you’re reusing old covers, they will leak. Always use new covers.
