Hello everyone,

Oure MEP-805B has a broken pick-up sensor. I can’t find any on the internet. And want to replace it for a retail. Does anyone know. Where i could find this. Or perhaps knows the resistance of this sensor. You would be of great help. Because where running this generator off grid. Thanks for reading.

Hope you can help me out.

Have you looked through the -24P manual for this particular machine, to ascertain either an NSN or a manufacturer number? Would help your search greatly.

If you are unfamiliar with how the TMs work on these sets, see the info below for your machine:

#2 call out for the MPU

Few pages later in the same book:
MPU 2.png

Part number on the item you need is MSP675C... which should tie back to Governors America: https://www.governors-america.com/products/msp675

Seems there are other items available generically for the same thing, but that should have been the OEM unit in there.

I would redownload all of the manuals for your machine here: https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threa...to-work-on-the-mep-805b-generator-set.173097/

Each one does different things... lubrication order, operating manual, technical troubleshooting, exploded parts diagrams, etc. Having all of them will give you a much more complete understanding of the machine, as they feature distinctly different information. Good luck getting it operational.
