Runsflats interchange between tires as long as they are 20inch they don't care what the wheel is.
I finished mounting last night my first HEMTT rim with a 16.00 XZL along with the Hutchinson run flat. I was a bit worried as the rim width seemed to measure just over 10" inches of width and the tire with the run flat width seemed to be about 10.5". So there is absolutely some positive crimping pressure between the tire beads and the run flat. And yes aligning the valve stem correctly and getting the rim to even start sliding into the run flat was... UN-FUN.

A little off topic but are you mounting the 16.00 XZL with the rim on your 5 ton? If so, are you using some kind of equipment or is you going to just push it on the studs?
