Austin Champ B40 NOS engine startup

There was a time when I owned 4 Champs, one that ran. It had the usual broken ring gear (crown wheel in Brit English).
The other 3 were essentially parts widows, but all of them had bad gears. One of them looked like it was dipped in a big tank of mixed species poop and water, then left to 'adsorb' some reality.
Other than that, the little RR 4-banger ran just fine.
For those that don't know, the Champ is built such that you have 4 forward AND reverse gears. Champ races, I heard...
All of them went to a fellow collector in Apache Junction. Bloody good move, there.

Ran across the video, then looked up SS post about it and here you are! Good vide, hope you find a buyer that can put that engine back in a good Champ. Think you got a diamond in the rough when you bought it. Good save.
