I have a transfer case valve sticking and dumping air into the intake and was thinking (dangerous right) if it might be a good idea to add air tool oil into the air system. I empty the air tanks after every use and have very very little to no moisture coming out of the tanks. Is this a good or bad idea to try on a M936?

It might be worth changing out the air dryer on your truck. You can buy a rebuild kit for the stock dryer, or replace the one you have. You really shouldn't be dumping water - or barely.

A little air tool oil in to the transfer case line could help, but you need to dig down into the problem a little more by investigating the dryer. Use the TM to find the steps to service the air dryer.
