LED blinker module suggestions

I couldn't get any of the direct replacement flashers to work (I have all Trucklite LEDs) and swapping the indicator to the LED everyone claims to work didn't help either, so I built my own flasher. I got the absolute cheapest 3 wire no-load flasher I could, the correct cannon plug, and used a project box I had lying around. I've got maybe $15 into the thing.

I did the same thing. Got a 3 wire no load flasher. Still didn’t work.
Update—— So I contacted the seller of these lights they told me that they were discounted because they were defective somehow and to pound sand. Even tho the listing stated New and mentioned nothing about the defect. Anyways I contacted the claims department and I’ll be getting a new set or a refund.
I’ll let you know if new lights were the problem.

just out of curiosity, have you ever seen the turn indicator on the light work? I know you have had numerous issues getting the signal to work but do you think it is the light itself that doesn’t flash?

I can get the light to flash/blink. Blink then back to no light blink then back to no light.…I’m guessing there might be an issue with it being on/running lights then needing to get brighter when the blinker is switched on. Also noticed some other blinkers units out there appear to have different diodes for the running lights and the blink function.

I changed out my marker lights , tail lights , and front turn signals to led. Do I need a led flasher unit now? The leds aren't flashing !

What is your current flasher unit you have now? Also what brand lights do you have, if known. Sometimes they are unbranded and made in China. The only reason I ask is that someone else had put together what brands work with what flasher units. The cheapest way to rule out in my experience is to go to Advanced Auto parts or any local parts store and pick up a Novita EP35 relay. Wire it up loosely, but (Safely). Strip the wires that will be going into the cannon plug and shove them in there. The Novita is a 12volt unit but still worked for me. It also has a +,-,and L terminal. The L is the load.

Also did you change the little bulb in the blinker handle yet?
If not first try taking the bulb completely out and see what you get. If no change or nothing works get the LED bulb.

***** I would try this before the flasher unit****

The cannon plug to the flasher has ABC on it.

A is flasher output(+), B is flasher input(+), and C is ground.

If you try the bulb thing and that dosnt work this is how you hook up the flasher unit.

And if that all dosnt work you might need some resistors. Got some off Amazon for cheap. But I don’t believe I needed them in my application due to being sold some faulty front blinker/lights.

I was thinking the original flasher on my truck would have to be replaced or I would have to go aftermarket. However, after connecting everything, I found that the blinkers work just fine with my LED kit. Waiting on a bulb for the indicator light but without a light 💡 n the socket they work fine. With an old bulb they work fine.
I took the flasher handle LED bulb, unsoldered the tip while pulling the LED assy out of the socket. Reversed the wires and reassembled. Someone on this forum explained that the tip is neg and the body is pos on the flasher arm socket.

So, just exercising my thinker, but ... bang, you are there - maybe. I read this description as parking lights blink when requested.

This is how the brake and blinkers share a bulb on trailers/ my motorcycle.

Not sure how hmmvw is designed to operate, but sounds like you can get it to function.
