Bad luck- govplanet 802a

Been doing lots of reading here and loving my 803a that I've had a couple months. Someone said one MEP is never enough, so I pressed my luck and won the bid on a 802a with trailer. I thought great, I'd get the chance to play with it and see how I liked it in comparison to my 803 when hooked up to my house. Taxes, fees, AND shipping from Florida to Texas added up quickly.

Already MEP familiar, I had all needed filters etc ready for arrival. Got it started within an hour or so after oil and all filters etc. The vibration was beyond what I expected. I read they vibrated more than the 803, but this vibrated items off the trailer. I does produce electricity, but I am certain I have a bad motor. Vibration appears more on the oil filter side, not the gen head area, nor motor mounts. JUST MY LUCK!!

Oh well, as they say, live and learn.

Twins aren't as nice as inline 4s... nature of the beast. Even worse when on trailers, all the rattling and inherent vibration from the machine can make it seem worse than it is.

Thank you. This was my 1st experience with a 802. So today I went to a seller's house who had two which hadn't been started in years. I got them running (great hands on practice) and they were EXACTLY like mine. So either all three are bad or as you say, nature of the beast.

Thank you
