Good Luck is the answer already I know it but I have to attempt this anyhow.
I have need of the Seals on the end of the Cylinders, both expanding and non-expanding type.
Is there a source? Anybody 3D printing them?

i dont have a seal, but i made a 3d printed seal install tool with carbon fiber petg per the TM for unit maintenance. tm me if you would like on, ill print another. also the break adjust tool

Part numbers would help narrow down what you want or are looking for

Step 1: Find exploded parts diagram in 24p manual diagram(#136 in this case), note diagram numbers 2 and 10 for the seals.
Step 2: On the next page note the P/N for those particular diagram items. 1205-C-2005 and 1205-B-2004 respectively.
Step 3: google those part numbers… Many listings on Ebay and other mil and truck suppliers. MeritorPartsXpres lists them both currently instock in the US…

WOW That's creative. I see how the driver works but how does the adjuster work and is it used while all is intact or do you end up disassembling the whell assembly? And then cost? or does that need to be on PM?

The flat adjusting tool works by bolting it onto one of the bolts in there and the slot guides your adjusting tool. The driver works by guiding the seal into position. I haven't used either tool yet I just built them out of my best material based upon the drawings provided so that each support unit can make their own tools if they don't have one. If somebody wants to test them for me PM me and I'll send you a set you can try them out and give me your critique. As far as cost I would probably sell both of them for 40 bucks or 10 for the flat tool and 30 for the driver.

And to clarify one of the technical manuals has detailed drawings of many specialty tools that you can make yourself. I've converted all of those into SolidWorks and these particular tools probably would work fine as 3D printed but of course they could be machined. The flat plate tool can easily just be water jet if you would like the SolidWorks files let me know and I can send them

I bought this kit Earlier this year i will have to look to see if that installer is in there, i pretty much just put everything on a shelf

That brake adjustment tool is...... some engineers idea of a good idea I guess.

I have the official one - tried it once. Waste of time IMO.

Seal driver.... Never needed one. In practice it's much faster to just use a socket extension or a screwdriver. But to each their own.
