M1009 Seat Re-Upholstery

I want to get my front and rear seat re-done. From searching here, it seems the early 80s camero seats are the closest match? Is there a source to get new vinyl for the seats (in the right color) that I can install or am I best off going to local upholstery place and having them work the seats? Anyone know a good upholstery shop that would be up to the task in Tucson if I needed to go that route?

This was the info I found:

Compared to modern seats, the ones in our trucks are real easy to remove and change out the covers on. As long as you are physically able to remove them from the vehicle and have the right tools available, it's a pretty easy DIY thing. If you go the route of the covers and new seat cushions from LMC truck, its going to run you about a grand for the pair of both front seats in vinyl. They have tan, red, gray, blue, and black.

There are other vendors who have covers, LMC is just the first one i though of.

I'm pretty sure LMC does not sell Camaro seat upholstery, which is what you need for an M1009.

I redid the seats in my truck a few years ago, and I'll edit this post later tonight when I get home with a link to the vendor I ordered foam and upholstery from and photos of how it looks installed. You can't get the exact stock color and patterns as far as I found, but it's pretty close

These are the only photos I have on my phone. Before replacement:

These are Camaro Central seat covers for an 82-85 model. Part number INT-1158 in Maroon (01). I paid ~$330 but that was back in 2018, not sure what the prices are these days. Those guys are great, and will send you a material sample if you want to see the color in person beore ordering. Its not an exact match to the CUCV burgandy, but its the closest I have found available anywhere off the shelf.

I bought the seat foam from Jegs, also for an 82-85 Camaro. If I were doing it again I would just get the foam from Camaro Central or another smaller vendor. I got lucky on my seat foam order and it somehow miraculously worked but I will never buy anything from Jegs ever again. They're a huge reseller who have no idea what they are selling or what it will fit and they more or less make it up as they go. They sent me a headliner that didn't even come close to fitting, had no ability to contact anyone via email, and they always have hour+ wait times to talk to someone on the phone. Once I finally got a hold of someone they ended up charging me a 40% restocking fee and shipping costs both ways since their junk headliner is advertised as "fitting a square body", despite being the complete wrong shape. They're an absolute garbage vendor, 0/10 would not recommend.

When you do your seats just buy everything from Camaro Central or another vendor that offers some customer service, IMO
