Well at the present time, the aluminum project is dead. Perhaps it may be revisited in the future, but it just wasn't meant to be at this time.

I will say though that lady luck has shined a little light on my thoughts here. In the last month I have been able to secure the OEM units. They are NOS/NIB... I did not have them produced. I'd say this is just as good as having them made, without the lead time.

Just picked up 2 of these. They are indeed new old stock with the original packaging and the original inlet/outlet plugs from the factory. I hope I never need them but I am glad to have them in the parts stash. I have 2 802s one with ~600 or so hours and the other has never seen the field. Only had 6 hours on it from testing when it was built at Fermont. Has about 100 hrs now. All this to say I think they both have a LOT of life left in them if properly cared for. I'd hate to have to jury rig something in the future for lack of the correct parts. It would be difficult to cobble something together for a radiator in these things with the lack of space, inlet and outlet on the same side, and the way they mount in the enclosure. Very happy to have the genuine article new in box.
